This presentation focuses on the essential elements of accessibility and universal design for learning in online instruction and provides strategies instructors can use to make their courses both technically accessible and usable to a broad range of students. Topics covered include best practices for course design, online tools within Canvas to create accessible resources, using multiple means of expression, representation and engagement, and successfully incorporating accessible media into online courses.
