A hands–on workshop designed to introduce participants to TEI–XML, the standard today for textual encoding in the Humanities. This session is intended for faculty and staff interested in editing and publishing literary or historical documents in an electronic format. No previous experience with XML or textual editing is required. Participants are encouraged to bring a short text or fragment with which to work. Led by Clayton McCarl of Languages, Literatures and Cultures, and sponsored by the UNF Digital Humanities Initiative in collaboration with CIRT.
